About the program
On completion of this program, you will be able to: - Work safely in accordance with Canadian laboratory standards - Make and observe histological sections on various tissues - Apply basic techniques and perform analyses in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, toxicology and microbiology - Cultivate animal and plant cells - Use fermenting microorganisms with bioreactors - Perform organic chemistry and biochemistry analyses using instrumental chromatography and mass spectrometry - Ensure traceability of analyses, products and devices You will receive cross-functional technical training in areas such as histology, biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, cell culture and instrumental chromatography. You will complete an in-company internship and an applied integration project allowing you to put into practice the technical concepts and skills acquired throughout the program. With the Montreal region as a major hub, Quebec ranks third in North America for the size of its of biotech company network, which brings together innovative industries in four main areas: human and animal health, agrifood, the environment and forestry. |
